Washing off the clay

It’s been such a busy summer working at the Clay Studio, not to mention my own personal clay projects.  Sometimes you just have to clear your head and wash the clay off.

Lucky for me, I live 20 minutes from this great swimming hole with natural falls. You can take a quick dip on lunch hour during a summer’s day or lounge around for longer in the evenings or a weekend day. It’s called Manuels River.

I just love being able to get away into nature so very easily here — another perk to my relocation back home to Newfoundland.

As you can see, this really IS the life!
